I make fun of you all the time with my friends. But that’s just because I want them to think i’m over you. Maybe if I convince them, I’ll be able to convince myself. Truth is, every time I see you, my heart shatters and I just want to cry. Everyone saw the pain you caused me, and they told me they didn’t understand why I put myself through it. They didn’t see the forehead kisses when I was sad, the way you played with my hair when I was sleepy, or the late night phone calls just to tell me you loved me. The horrible things you did to me definitely outweigh the good, but I would take all that pain back in a second just to have those kisses, your hands, you. You know what the worst part is? I have the worlds most amazing boyfriend right now, and I know, in the back of my mind, that if you asked for me back, I’d do it in a heartbeat. And that hurts me more then you know.
